Happy 10 Years to Event Technology Solutions

It’s no secret: every great event requires great AV. However, few event planners are skilled in audiovisual. Enter: our AV company.

Our audiovisual company, Event Technology Services, has been in operations under that name since November 1, 2011, but their roots go much farther back. In 1994, Brent Taylor Productions began operations. Five years later Timewise Event Management, recognizing the need for a reliable and innovative technological approach to AV, acquired Brent Taylor Productions, which then became Timewise Technical Productions.

Timewise Technical Productions operated as our in-house audiovisual department until 2011. At that time, it became apparent that there was a great need amongst planners for a more effective approach to audiovisual, and Timewise Technical Productions became Event Technology Solutions, offering audiovisual expertise to external clients as well as continuing to provide audiovisual services for our events.


Highlights:

Over the last 10 years we have:

  • Provided technical services to the Royal Alberta Museum Theatre. delivering over 200 events/performances per year over the course of 5 years

  • Served as the in-house audio visual supplier for the Marriott Hotel at River Cree Resort for 5 years and the Renaissance Edmonton Airport for 3 years

  • Currently serving as the in-house supplier at the Evario Events Centre

Our innovative approach looks at AV from an event manager’s perspective – but with the experience of a long-standing AV and production company. Over the last 19 months Event Technology Solutions has continued to adapt along with the industry in order to provide the best level of care to our clients throughout the pandemic. With an increased demand for virtual and hybrid offerings, Event Technology Solutions continues to offer innovative solutions to planners and associations, allowing organizations to sustainably reach out to their audiences during this trying time.
